New York City-based violinist, poet, and educator Mia Rose Nardi-Huffman has been making waves on the East Coast since her return in January 2023. Previously based in the San Francisco Bay Area for 13 years, she has performed across North America and Europe in a variety of settings ranging from Carnegie Hall to Shoreline Ampitheatre. Equally at home in the realms of classical music and heavy rock, she is the founder and first violinist of the ASTRAEUS Chamber Collective, as well as a touring violinist for the band Spirit Mother and the Emo Orchestra. Mia is a dedicated violin teacher with her own private studio based out of her Williamsburg, Brooklyn home, as well as on the violin faculty at 92NY and a Teaching Artist for Midori & Friends. Writing has long been a part of Mia’s life with her first poem being published at 9 years old; she recently released her first book of poetry, ‘So I Don’t Forget: Poems of Grief and Rediscovery’, available on Amazon.
